It is difficult enough to be one of the persons that make up the population of Africa most especially Nigeria not to talk of being a woman in a country like Nigeria. A society where women are not appreciated, nor respected If you are a female in Africa you are expected to get married though your parent will not really prepare you for the marriage, no sex education, no counseling nothing, and if you are not married you are not really respected as a woman (TOPIC FOR ANOTHER DAY) 95% of Female children in Africa and Nigeria from the time of their birth are not really appreciated. As per the video below Whenever a woman is put to birth, the first question asked is: Kilebi ? (#yoruba language) Wetin you born? (Pidgin English) What did you give birth to? Though if I were those women who are been asked this question, I will respond to them that “I gave birth to a human being” When this question is asked and a response is given, you can tell by the celebrations of people around.
Even the (Church) is not left out in this discrimination against Female children, whenever the announcer in the Church announces to the congregation at any Church service saying “Ladies and Gentlemen Mr. & Mrs. A just had a bouncing baby boy or girl” there is always a large yelling and celebrations from the Church crown if the baby is a boy but if it’s a baby girl little yelling and celebration is heard from the crowd of the Church of God. In Africa most especially in Nigeria Female children are not considered children, when a woman gives birth to a baby girl it's like she has not really given birth to a child at all (as per this video) But when a woman gives to a baby boy oh, she will be so much celebrated, appreciated, and respected as if she did it by her own making. Though in Yoruba culture elderly women are very much referenced and respected, but respect and reference can also take a twisted turn as elderly women are also accused of Witcraft and stoned to death or banished (TOPIC FOR ANOTHER DAY) As a grown-up woman, I have finally come to the conclusion that 95% of men do not really like women, I mean women who will not play whore to them, men only love women cooking for them, cleaning, and having babies, especially male babies and giving them sexual pleasure. aka sex object. Most men don’t like a woman that is outstanding, men at the place of work want you to be silent when they are speaking, and they always tried to bring out your weakness or mistakes in everything you do just to kill your self-confidence.
Men will do all they can to bring down any woman whom they think is
their competitor or colleague in the business, in place of work, that is
a woman that tried to do something tangible with her life rather than
being pushed around by a man will always get a lot of hate from men, and
they will also use her fellow woman against her.
Most men in the work environment like it when women at the office fight
and hate each other, they always tried to pitch these women against one
another by admiring one to provoke another and they hate it when women
work together in love and harmony.

the bad situation in Africa and Nigeria today was created because men
won’t give women a chance in leadership or anything good.
