Anty Kofo's Jollof Rice

ANTY KOFO’S JOLLOF RICE

The best Jollof Rice depends on individual's recipe and style one adopts in cooking it, some people even bake’s their Jollof Rice in oven rather than cooking it

Umm

However, my style of cooking jollof rice is easy and will not allow the rice to burn

my first style of cooking Jollof Rice

Ingredients needed

1. Nigerian Rice

2. Chopped vegetable of choice

3. Protein of choice

4. Pepper/tomatoes and onions blended

5. Oil for frying

6. Spices and Seasonings

CAUTION!!!

Kindly note that as there are different varieties of rice so also their cooking time varies

Preparation

1. Pour the blended pepper/tomatoes and onions in the pot and place on the fire to cook, fry the boiled pepper and while the peeper is frying…

2. Season the meat 🥩 add little water and allow to cook after 10 min add more water to the meat, because we need the stock from the meat to cook the rice.

3 boil, fry and peppered the meat

4 stirred fry the vegetables with a little oil

If you are adding fresh green peas then add it to the rice while cooking to prevent constipation and bloating

5 wash the rice and pour it in the meat stock to cook add more Seasonings and water if need be

6 check if the water in the rice has dried up, and if the rice is not cooked then add more water

When the water from rice has gone down pour the fried pepper on top of the rice been cooked on fire reduce the fire and allow to steam dry for 15 min

7 pour in the steamed fried vegetables and mixed them together

and yes, Anty Kofo's Jollof Rice is ready

You can see there's a little to no burnt at the bottom of the put

Custard Vs Ogi

CUSTARD VS OGI (PAP)

Intro: Song: emi lo gi Omo Oni iko oku omo eran: i am Ogi (pap) a child of someone, others children of goats lol

Focus

So what is the different between Custard and Ogi (Pap)

Lets find out

Both Custard and Pap (Ogi) is derived from cereal grains

1.    Custard is derived directly from corn grain with some other things like thickeners, flavorings, color etc added to it

1. Pap Ogi is also derives from corn grains, different cereal grains or combination of Cereal grains like white corn, yellow corn, white or red Guinea corn (sorghum) and varieties of millets like doro, Jero, rice, wheat, unripped plantain etc

2.    Custard comes in dry powder because it has been forced to dry through the process call dehydration but still contains nutrients though lacks probiotic nutrient.

2.    While Pap (Ogi) retain its wet form, extremely rich in nutrients and pro biotic because it has gone through the process of fermentation.

3.    Custard is beautify with color, can be enriched with fruits and different kinds of flavours, like Banana, vanilla essence

Stop
Is that so
Do you know that according to
Animalogic beaver’s anus contain a castoreum that smells like vanilla essence and some food and cosmetics industries use it as a substitute in place of real vanilla?

Mean girls: What?

Do carry on

Conclusion

both Custard and Pap (Ogi) is spices with ginger, date fruit, Tiger nut Milk and Coconut milk etc

good for babies, pregnant women, menstruating women, fasters etc

fascinating, isn’t it?
